This is a new function for IDD and is purposely to establish data and assessment of SMEs in the country through study surveys and consultations in the area of definition, access to finance, human resource development and support services by public and private sector to SMEs and business environment. This should lead to creation of a SME National Development Policy for 5 – 10 years.
