How does InvestSolomons evaluate investors and investments?
The Investment Facilitation and Registration Unit is responsible for the processing and screening of Foreign Investment applications for the Registrar’s consideration and decision. In carrying out this duty, the unit regularly communicates with Foreign Investors on the status of their applications and provides technical advice, through reports to assist the Registrar on decision making process. The Unit also helps that:
- Forms are properly filled by investors using the standard forms.
- Investment activities are not categorised under the “Reserved List” and restricted list from key government agencies.
- Additional documents to be provided like the applicant’s Passport, Overseas Certificate of Incorporation, Resume, Business Plan and other supporting documents are provided.
