Importing dried sea cucumber has been playing very important role among our business. Although we have several African suppliers, their productivity is beyond our requirement, we have to seek for more sources in order to cope the increasing demands on this market here in Singapore, especially we are interested in the quality from Pacific Islands.
Among the sea cucumbers, we are interested in all species. Quality is one of the most important elements for selling this product, so we have to mention the quality required as follows,
1. Dryness: must be well dried, and as hard as rock. Sundry is the
method we most like.
2. Favorite size: Pls provide average grams per piece
3. Presentation (look):
The goods must be of general good look. Especially, we prefer the
shape rather straight and stout.
Broken, deformed, crooked, twisted, putrid piece is not acceptable.
Slender sea cucumber is not acceptable, either.
Processors are strongly asked to process/cook soonest possible upon
the creatures being caught so that to get a better presentation.
4. Eviscerating: Especially, the sandy intestines must be cleaned out.
5. Freshness and smell:
The goods must be fresh. Fresh products ordinary have good
presentation and good smell. Processors have to process/cook soonest possible.
6. No chemicals, preservatives, colors, additives, unsalted, etc. is allowed to add to.
We are also interested in dried shark fins and fish maw please quote price as well.

We are eager to expand more sources of high quality goods, we will not care reasonably high price; what we most want is a stable supply of long term business.
