Makira
Province is a seldom visited high island to the east of Guadalcanal. The
Provincial centre is Kirakira, well serviced by Solomon Islands. The people
are Melanesians. The province also includes the island of Ulawa and the
two smaller islands Santa Anna and Santa Catalina.
