If you want to visit Solomon Islands as a tourist, on business, do research, to work, engage in religious vocations or intending to invest, please contact us about your visa or permit requirements to enable you to enter and enjoy your stay in our Islands.

Review of Immigration Legislation and Service Delivery

Immigration Division welcomes your input to the current review of immigration legislation and service delivery. This review commenced in June 2009 and it is expected that revised legislation will go to Parliament for consideration in 2011.

The objective is to ensure that:

• we have an efficient and modern approach to protecting the integrity of Solomon Islands borders;
• arrangements for the entry of foreign nationals for employment and investment strike the right balance between facilitation and control.

Submissions to the review may be lodged at any time before 31 January 2011
